We continue to listen to The Ram, diving even deeper into his music and new releases. If you’re not yet familiar with The Ram’s music, there’s no need to worry. The Ram is a musician and songwriter working in the genres of country rock, funk, and blues. His music always carries stories about family traditions, spiritual values, and freedom in all its forms. What’s special about The Ram’s sound? In the lyrics of his songs, in the music he plays with his band, the atmosphere always focuses on the life around us and the ability to find joy and freedom in the things surrounding us. And with the new release, “Space Cowboy,” The Ram adds a new touch to his collection of tracks. “Space Cowboy” is stylish funk, relaxed, bright, hypnotic. With the release of “Space Cowboy,” besides the main single, The Ram shared four more tracks, different versions of “Space Cowboy.” I must admit, I really like this approach. In addition to the main studio track, we have a live recording that transports me right to the heart of the action. The acoustic track allows you to feel the melody differently, letting it be a bit more intimate, and as a result, touch deeper thoughts. The instrumental tracks reveal the arrangement’s sound and the soul of each instrument. Definitely, very, very cool!

But let’s get back to the main track, “Space Cowboy.” You might be surprised, dear reader, but The Ram invites everyone to feel the atmosphere of the night sea and find themselves on a board, among the waves. How about that? The Ram is a surfer, and he knows what he’s talking about. I can trust his feelings and experience, and through the sensual guitar riffs, the swaying rhythm of the drums, and his soft, passionate voice, I can feel the depth of night surfing. The flawless guitars fill the space with their polished brilliance, while the drums lay down a solid foundation, making sure you won’t get lost in The Ram’s mesmerizing performance.

I love the subtle parallel between space and night, especially with the mirror-like water reflecting the sky. There’s something poetic and timeless about it. And if you close your eyes while listening to the track, you’ll find yourself in a dark space where only The Ram’s voice leads you, like a cosmic cowboy, through the labyrinths of emotions and thoughts. I noticed that “Space Cowboy” resonates with joy, hope, and a feeling of warmth. This track instills confidence that anything is possible. And there’s nothing to fear, really. The Ram’s music always carries a special attachment, but “Space Cowboy” feels more personal, more intimate. The release artwork reminded me of retro posters, and that adds a special charm to it.
