Rural TV Classical by Thomas Hewitt Jones

Dear listener of flawless albums,

Today, we will be listening to and enjoying the amazing orchestral album ‘Rural TV Classical’ by composer Thomas Hewitt Jones. This is a conceptual release that can create an atmosphere of love, inspiration, contemplation of nature, and rural life for you, wherever you are. But before we begin, I’d like to say that I was deeply moved by the concept of ‘Rural TV Classical’. Among the hustle of city life, the towering skyscrapers, business centers, traffic jams, noise, and political and career games, it’s so hard to see the beauty of life around us. With its joys, perhaps simplicity in some surrounding details, and most importantly, in this rush, it’s hard to find a moment to feel the beauty of our planet, nature with its diversity and true magnificence. The album has 15 tracks, interconnected by a single idea, filled with life and harmony, and listening to them helps any listener disconnect from the surrounding dusty world and, for nearly 35 minutes, transport to another world bathed in sunlight, labor on a farm, surrounded by nature and tranquility. Isn’t that a gift? I suggest you take a break, turn on the album by Thomas Hewitt Jones, and enjoy the gentle and airy sound that will create a unique atmosphere for you and fill your heart with joy.

The album opens with the first track, ‘Aerial View,’ and the name itself invites reflection and fantasy. I love the airiness and lightness of this composition, its bright strings shimmering with each other, soaring through space. It creates a sense of weightlessness and freedom. I feel like a light breeze sweeping over endless golden fields, forests, and a small country town where everyone knows each other. I can imagine how the soaring lead violin picks up my thoughts and carries them far beyond the concrete walls, out of the city, into the heart of nature. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that the very first notes of ‘Countryside Vista’ gave me chills from the subtle play with tonalities, the dramatic sound, and the way the music transforms and blooms. Joy and tenderness blend with hope, but I still sense a touch of melancholy, symbolizing for me the eternal cycle of life and death, rebirth and decline. In urban life, it’s hard to grasp this, except perhaps in the changing of the seasons. But in farm life, you must be within this process and follow each cycle.

In the next ‘Crops,’ the melody unfolds with lush, textured sounds, celebrating growth and harvest. The gentle melancholy of eternity disappears, replaced by the joy of hard work’s results, the beauty of a blooming world, lush trees, berries, flowers, and fruits. Thanks to the vibrant cover featuring a family, it’s easy to recreate in your mind a real story with main and supporting characters in the track ‘Farmland.’ The sound itself carries a special warmth, as if narrating a personal story where everyone fulfills their role on the farm and enjoys every day they live.

I’m in love with ‘New Day on the Farm,’ with its soft keys, shimmering brass, and strings that create for me a feeling of hope, coziness, and homely calm, bathed in sunlight. I like how in ‘Children on the Farm,’ Thomas Hewitt Jones continues introducing us to life on the farm, offering a view of the world through the eyes of children. The airy and cozy melody is filled with the energy of strings, movement, and intensity. A gentle curiosity glides through the melody, inevitably leading to muddy knees and races across the farm.

Covering every corner of farm life, the composition ‘Vet Emergency’ with its fast tempo, rising percussion, twists, and culmination offers a truly unique experience. At every moment of the melody, you will feel how the story develops, reaches its peak, and slowly dissolves into a grand, bright final note. Flawless! The tracks ‘Timelapse Planting’ and ‘Sally’s Market Stall’ are perfectly cinematic in how they connect, telling the story of one family’s life. The focus and determination are palpable in ‘Timelapse Planting,’ while the faster, more energetic, and vibrant ‘Sally’s Market Stall’ mentally transports you to a small shop supplied with homegrown products, where all the neighbors are eager to visit Sally’s market.

By the end of the album, we are greeted by the final two compositions, ‘Farmer Jack’ and ‘The Outdoors.’ I like how in ‘Farmer Jack,’ with its harmonica and guitars at the beginning, a light touch of classic country sound emerges. This choice conveys a sense of meeting what could be the central character in the story. It feels as though the narrative introduces the very hero who holds the origins in his hands, the one who stands behind the first seeds planted in the fields and the beginning of the entire tale.

The final track, ‘The Outdoors,’ concludes the album on a cozy note. The day draws to a close, and everyone finds time to appreciate the fruits of their labor and spend moments with family. I admire how Thomas Hewitt Jones, through his music, creates a true film in the mind, holding your attention until the final note. The melody unfolds in a climax, evoking goosebumps with its tenderness and light, leaving a warm glow in the soul after listening to ‘Rural TV Classical.’ The music in ‘Rural TV Classical’ reflects a touching bond between humans and nature, reminding us of the importance of its beauty in our lives and the significance of each day. You feel it too, don’t you?

Hey Thomas Hewitt Jones! Thank you for releasing such a cozy and stunning album. I was truly immersed in every track and the theme, which brought vivid imagery and shifted my mood, it’s exactly what matters most when listening to music. Your album allowed me, even if just for a while, to feel like I was somewhere else, to experience new emotions, and to find inspiration. I’m absolutely blown away by how cinematic and modern your music sounds. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear your tracks in the soundtrack of a new video game or film, the way your music practically comes to life in the mind is incredible. I’ll definitely be sharing your album with all my friends so they can get inspired too by this light and flawless music. I think I’ve officially become your fan and now I want more. I love it!
