I’ve found a wonderfully stylish cover for you ‘Wuthering Heights’ by Anna Duboc. It’s wild, but in the very best sense. Everyone knows the original is this grand, theatrical, almost otherworldly performance, but instead of trying to replicate that, Anna takes a far more personal route. The sound is softer, smoother, with a dreamy indie pop hue that fits perfectly alongside her own songs.

What I loved most is that she doesn’t overplay it. The arrangement stays minimal, keeping all the focus on her voice. There’s still that spellbinding atmosphere in it, but instead of a brooding drama, it feels more like a teenager pouring their heart out right in the moment. Honestly, that may be exactly why it works so well. It’s just incredibly cool!
