Hezitator x arnii recorded an apocalyptic track ‘Mushroom Cloud’ in the darkwave and synthpop genre. From the first seconds, chills run through the body from the dark atmosphere and the harsh rhythm. The mood is softened only by the laconic yet expressive lyrics and the pleasant voice of the vocalist.

The song resembles the gloomy music of Gary Numan and Depeche Mode, and in sound, the experimental electro-industrial of Skinny Puppy. But Hezitator and arnii have diluted their track with modern sound effects, thanks to which it fits organically into the musical tastes of listeners in 2025.

‘Mushroom Cloud’ is a single mechanism consisting of music and lyrics. Together they create an installation of the last minutes of humanity’s existence. There is no pity or inspiration here, only the cold and emptiness left after the explosion.
