dove rd is an emerging R&B/pop artist whose path runs through church choirs, musical theatre, college football, songwriting studies, pastoral work and a tour with Emblem3. The song began during a relationship, originally inspired by the idea of a person becoming so distant that their presence takes on an unreal quality.
