Our journey can truly be called legendary. In its earliest days, it was a modest indie music blog, covering songs we loved, artists we believed deserved attention, and records that kept finding their way back onto our playlists. Over time, that little blog grew into something much bigger. Soundville expanded its editorial team, welcomed regular writers, reached a wider international audience and developed several projects around the main publication. Today, alongside our reviews, interviews, features and music news, we publish Music Shake, a weekly roundup of fresh music, run the Chart V podcast, and operate our own internet radio station, Radio Soundville FM.

Somewhere along the way, our once-tiny indie corner of the internet became an established music platform with a life far beyond its original format. Soundville is also featured in Feedspot’s “60 Best Spain Music Blogs to Follow in 2026”. Growth brought more artists, more stories, more contributors and a much larger Soundville universe. Our editorial identity, however, still comes from the same place where everything started. Blogs themselves carry a certain old-internet charm. The format belongs to an era of personal recommendations, obsessive listening and writers building their own corners of the web around music they cared about. Soundville grew out of that culture, and part of us still belongs there.

So while the platform has expanded into reviews, interviews, weekly features, podcasts and radio, the heart of SoundVille remains where it started: an independent music blog driven by curiosity, personality and the desire to keep discovering what comes next.
