New Album ‘Human Void CRASS JUNKIE’ By Quilium: Radical Freedom From Commercial Constraints And Genre Boundaries

Dear listeners of cool and amazing releases, you know, today we will talk about quilium and his music. It is worth saying right away that we are entering the territory of art and inspiration. When music exists for the sake of an idea, for the sake of a statement and… fun. Forget everything you knew before. ‘human void CRASS JUNKIE’ by quilium will turn your world inside out.

The release ‘human void CRASS JUNKIE’ by quilium is that rare case when the speed of creation becomes part of the artistic concept. Written in just two weeks after the previous album, it preserves the energy of impulse. You know, that very drive and energy that remained unexpressed after the previous release, quilium, instead of reflection, chooses movement. Therefore we have ‘human void CRASS JUNKIE’. 13 tracks. Bright, at times nervous in the best sense but at the same time surprisingly cohesive.

13 tracks flow as a single stream. Genres may change, commercial hip-hop in ‘rough DRAFTING (with Froggy Z & Swift ONE)’, then industrial psychedelic ‘argoNAUT’. Or even cosmic darkwave ‘art is DEAD (prod by CHAD.)’, with anxious lyrics and powerful rap. And I like that it sounds like an expression of a human’s usual mood. quilium speaks directly about what sound can be and that one idea can sound harmonious even with a sharp change of genre. And in ‘human void CRASS JUNKIE’ there is a strong sense of an attempt to keep us, the listeners, inside a certain concept, a thought. Each new track is just a new view of the same situation.

Undoubtedly, the sound of ‘human void CRASS JUNKIE’ remains faithful to quilium’s DIY aesthetic: rough, sometimes deliberately unpolished. quilium does not use AI at all or attempt to make the material more glossy. And this is really audible. The production preserves human freedom of vision, a creative flow with its inconsistency and lack of boundaries, for example in the track ‘enclosed TRANSCRIPT’. This is an absolutely “broken” track, it only has an echo of familiar genres. The deliberate distortion of harmonies creates a feeling of awakening, and the vocals only strengthen it. Or the next one ‘jelly SOMETIMES’, with its live sound, acoustic guitar and vocals free from the constraints of polish and cleanliness. That is why human void CRASS JUNKIE lives, breathes, sometimes “breaks”.

This is exactly what creates the feeling of the presence of an author, not an algorithm. It is also worth noting the lyrics separately: compared to previous works, ‘human void CRASS JUNKIE’ seems more structured and directed. If earlier the lyrics could be perceived as fragments, here there is a striving for coherence. Just do not look for linearity here! Assemble the puzzle from the shards. For example, the track ‘ants in the CAVE’ with its swaying electric guitar and overdriven sound makes a new statement as a counterweight to acoustic sound, while ‘do the DROP’ breaks the familiar sound of reggae, electronics, synth dream sound. Offering a new turn in the concept of human feelings.

Therefore, ‘human void CRASS JUNKIE’ is a step forward into a deeper development of quilium’s own creative language. And perhaps the main message of his music is freedom, love, happiness and simply fun free from boundaries and norms. An attempt to show that music is still a mood, it is freedom of thought, and if you do not force yourself into the framework of a commercial product, and leave music in its free field of sound, it will be beautiful. Therefore the final ‘play the part WITH ME’, which is the ending, with a light guitar and soft vocals, leaves an absolute feeling of lightness and freedom after it. Be sure to add your favorite tracks to your playlist and subscribe to quilium so as not to miss even more interesting and engaging music. Absolutely recommend!

Hey quilium! You know, there is some kind of spark in ‘human void CRASS JUNKIE’, something magical. Of course, there is a lot of psychedelic, experimental music with heavy overloaded effects, but… when I was listening, I did not feel the heaviness that sometimes accompanies such releases. I heard a lot of air in the songs, something that did not let me sink completely into arthouse. It is very stylish and cool and you know, I really got incredible pleasure from listening. I will definitely show the release to everyone, everyone! Let them also listen to such cool and stylish music. I love it and I want more! Yeeeeah
