Katiuska McLean has introduced her LoveLight era with “I Care”, a dance-pop single built around a central philosophy: “Caring is a Superpower.” The new release takes compassion, something often treated as private and quiet, and gives it the scale of a dance pop song.
McLean builds the song around that statement with cinematic production, emotional momentum and a vocal performance designed to carry both intimacy and lift.
“I Care” starts from vulnerability. Its emotional centre is the act of staying beside another person through mistakes, difficult moments and uncertainty. McLean sings from a position of compassion, gradually widening that personal idea into something communal.
Her own description captures the heart of the track: caring as a source of hope, human connection and strength.
The official video extends that idea through visual storytelling. McLean has long connected music with cinema, performance and imagined scenes.
As a child, singing, songwriting and acting existed inside the same creative space for her, and that relationship remains part of her work today.
