Born in Australia and raised in a Chinese family, ANDI has pursued his art across Europe, South Korea and the United States, building a career that spans music, performance and modelling. On the 12-track “Still Believe in Love”, he writes about the damage left by a relationship and the stubborn desire to open his heart again.
The title carries a confession rather than a slogan. “Maybe I was broken, maybe I’m still broken but I still believe in love,” ANDI sings, placing the wound and the hope side by side.
There is something stubborn in that belief. Anyone can celebrate love during its beautiful stage. ANDI remains interested in it after the arguments, the humiliation, the empty room and the long stare into the mirror.
“Stranger in the Mirror” brings that last image directly into focus. Heartbreak has altered the person looking back, and recognition has become part of the struggle. Across the record, identity keeps colliding with romance: how much of yourself gets surrendered, which pieces return, and which ones remain attached to somebody else.
