Ontario punk trio Among Legends open a new chapter with the single ‘H/A/C/K’, the first release from the upcoming full length album Lose My Grip, which will be released on July 10, 2026. The track was released today, ‘H/A/C/K’, on May 1 and immediately defined the direction of the band’s sound. Behind Among Legends are years in the Canadian punk scene, DIY ethics, tours, lineup changes, and a gradual, almost stubborn building of their own sound.

References to The Flatliners, Hostage Life, as well as to the melodic intensity of Bad Religion and Less Than Jake sound here not as borrowing, but as a natural environment in which the band grew. I like the flawless punk sound with unstoppable energy and simply insane mood. Bright vocals, roaring guitars, unstoppable drums, all of this comes together into an amazingly catchy sound of Among Legends. It is worth noting the production separately: Matt Gauthier (ARC Recording Studio / This Place Needs A Name) preserves that very rawness that makes the track feel alive, you know, even a little rough around the edges, and it immediately grabs you, leaving a sense of reality. I recommend you listen to ‘H/A/C/K’ and обязательно watch the video that complements the release! Flawless!
